Our ultra-high-strength 50mm Boring Bars are crafted from 40Cr/42CrMo Chromoly material giving it a higher tensile strength, more rigidity and greater impact resitance. These features are enhanced through multiple heat treatment processes, including overall high-frequency quenching, modulation, and surface chrome plating. This robust construction ensures exceptional strength and durability, providing a strong guarantee for precise cutting and finishing operations. Ideal for demanding machining tasks, our boring bars deliver superior performance and reliability necessary for achieving high-quality results. The 14mm tool ports are spaced at 4.75? on center, with the first hole positioned 0.5? from the end of the bar to the center of the hole. The bottom of each tool port accepts a fine thread set screw, allowing for ultra-fine adjustment of the tool holder to ensure precise finish cuts. Bars are drilled between each tool port to accept a through-the-bar snap gauge measuring tool. Additionally, the continuous keyway design enables the mounting of the drive unit anywhere along the bar, offering unmatched flexibility and convenience in various machining setups.
